Emanuela, thank you for joining us! If you had to describe yourself using only 5 emojis, which ones would you pick and why?

Thank you for having me! I’d choose:

• 🍒 It’s like a symbol of confidence and femininity and daring elegance, embodying a bold spirit.

• 🎬 /🎭 For my love of cinema, both in front of and behind the camera. Acting is my biggest passion – it’s where I explore, express, and connect. Also as a movie directing student, I’m driven to tell stories visually and emotionally.

• 🎨 Palette: I’m always creating, whether it’s in acting, writing ,interior design or a new passion I have found.

• 🌹 Rose: Elegant yet powerful, soft with an edge

• 🪞 Mirror: For the importance I place on balancing my inner and outer worlds, working on both self-reflection and growth.

Self improvement is one of my top priorities. I’m always learning and deepening my understanding of myself and others.

How do you feel about Miss Bulgaria and what it represents?

To me, Miss Bulgaria is more than a beauty pageant; it’s a celebration of identity, strength, and authenticity. It’s a platform where beauty meets purpose, where women showcase their individuality and intelligence. It’s about inspiring others and creating a positive impact, which I find incredibly empowering.

Let’s start with your passions. Acting seems to be a major one for you. Could you share more about what draws you to it?

Acting feels like a deep dive into the human experience. It lets me connect with different aspects of myself and see the world through so many unique perspectives. I love the challenge of becoming someone else, understanding their motivations, and feeling their emotions. It’s an art form that’s helped me grow both personally and professionally, allowing me to connect with others on a profound level. It’s like having the chance to live thousands of lives.

Have you taken any acting courses or workshops that have significantly shaped your skills or approach? If so, how did they impact you?

Actually, yes, I’ve been taking courses since I was sixteen and now I am currently 22. For me it was transformative, helping me tap into emotions and experiences I didn’t know I could access. These courses taught me to trust myself, to fully embrace vulnerability, and to bring authenticity into my performances. They’ve been essential in shaping not only my skills but also my approach to each role and also help me being more confident in real life.

Are there any particular roles or types of characters you dream of playing in the future?

Since I was little I’ve loved movies and I’ve often used them as a way to escape reality or form my own personality based of characters I found intriguing so I don’t want to limit myself only for a specific type ,but if I have to choose- roles similar to the ones Angelina Jolie often takes on inspire me .There’s something captivating about stepping into the shoes of a woman who exudes confidence, depth, and mystery and is misunderstood and yet so complexed .Women who are unapologetically powerful, resilient, yet carrying a vulnerability beneath the surface.

I’m drawn to roles that are layered, characters who face internal or external conflicts, and those who have stories that need to be told. I’d love to play someone with a deeply emotional journey, a character with raw, authentic challenges. Playing a character like that would allow me to explore both strength and nuance, bringing out a mix of allure and intensity that’s both challenging and rewarding.

Apart from acting, you seem to have quite a range of interests! Can you tell us more about the other things you’re passionate about?

Aside from acting, I’m passionate about storytelling in all its forms. I write, which helps me process my own experiences and observations, and I also enjoy freelance photo modeling, where I get to express myself visually. Self-improvement is a big focus for me – I dedicate time to reading psychology, which enriches both my mindset and my understanding of others. Interior design and movie directing are recent passions that allow me to blend creativity with structure, and both give me a new way to express my vision.

So, you’re studying movie directing and interior design. What makes you passionate about these fields? And, are there any upcoming short films you’re working on?

Both fields let me bring stories to life. Directing allows me to shape emotions and narratives in a way that resonates visually and emotionally. Interior design, on the other hand, is about creating spaces that evoke feelings and reflect identities.

You mentioned that psychology helps you in this journey. Could you tell us how it’s influenced you?

Psychology is a powerful tool that influences every aspect of my life. It gives me insight into my own thoughts and emotions, helping me align my inner and outer worlds. In acting, it allows me to understand characters on a deeper level, making my portrayals more genuine. Psychology also enhances my interactions with others, providing empathy and perspective, which is invaluable in both personal relationships and creative collaborations.I’ve always had the passion to constantly learn something new so it sort of fulfils part of that need.

I noticed on your social media that you often pose as a model, creating a unique vibe with themes of dark romance and sexy vintage aesthetics. What drives you to embrace and explore this style in your work?

There’s something timeless and alluring about the dark romance and vintage aesthetic that resonates deeply with me. I’m drawn to its contrast—the mix of elegance with a hint of edge, beauty tinged with mystery. Embracing this style allows me to tell stories that go beyond surface-level beauty; it’s about creating an atmosphere, evoking emotions, and bringing a sense of classic allure into a modern context. Through these shoots, I explore both sides of myself: the confident, bold energy and the more introspective, enigmatic side.

You mentioned that you do these shoots to grow your social media rather than for income. What message or image do you hope to share with your community? And do you see potential for monetizing this work in the future?

For now, yes. Through my work, I want to share a message of self-expression and empowerment. I want people to see that they can embrace all facets of themselves—their softness, strength, allure, and complexity. As for monetization, I do see potential in the future. Collaborating with brands that align with my aesthetic or possibly launching my own creative projects would allow me to turn this passion into something more substantial while staying true to my vision.

If you could fast-forward five years and look at a snapshot of your life, what 7 things would you definitely want to see in the picture?

  • 1. A life where I feel balanced, fulfilled, and continuously evolving, staying true to myself in everything I do.
  • 2. Directing my own films, telling stories that matter to me and resonate with audiences.
  • 3. A published book, something I’ve dreamed of since I was a child, inspired by my love for literature and my grandmother, who introduced me to the classics when I was younger. Writing has always been a natural outlet for my imagination, and I’d love to create a story that captivates readers the way those early books captivated me. I’ve been writing poems half of my life but I’d love to explore prose too someday.
  • 4. Close relationships with people I love and I am loved by, we support and inspire each other to keep growing.
  • 5. A platform to share my insights on self-development, speaking of both your inner and outer self, the power we often don’t know we have, psychology, and creativity, perhaps through a blog or even a book.
  • 6. A career in acting, with roles that challenge me and allow me to showcase complexed ,layered characters and push my boundaries.
  • 7. Еxploring the world with a person I love, living live to the fullest and being truly happy.
If you were to join the Miss Bulgaria adventure, what unique qualities or perspectives do you think you would bring to the show and its audience?

I believe I’d bring a blend of strength and introspection that could resonate with the audience. My journey has been one of continual self-discovery, balancing external beauty with a deep commitment to inner growth and understanding. I think people would connect with my focus on self-improvement and my passion for exploring the complexities of identity and self-expression. Additionally, my background in psychology allows me to understand and relate to people on a deeper level, which I feel would bring a fresh perspective to the competition. Miss Bulgaria isn’t just about physical beauty; it’s about representing a multifaceted woman who is both strong and compassionate, and I would love to embody that.

Thank you, Emanuela, for sharing a bit of your mysterious world! May your path stay stylishly intriguing, with just the right dash of allure. Until next time…in the moonlight…
