Valentina, how did your journey into modeling and acting begin, and what inspired you to start?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I still remember my first photo shoot in 2017. I submitted my casting form to a children\u2019s modeling agency without my parents knowing. When they called my mom, I explained how much I wanted to go! The shoot wasn\u2019t in Sofia, but they took me anyway, and it was such a cool experience. Later that year, I had my first casting for a TV series, but I didn\u2019t get chosen. Ever since I was little, it\u2019s been a dream of mine to be on screen. I loved watching fashion shows, and I always knew in my heart that I\u2019d pursue this dream when I grew up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What part of being a model do you enjoy the most?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I truly love the entire process\u2014doing my makeup, picking out dresses, choosing the outfits for shoots or runways. And, of course, the adrenaline and excitement before stepping on stage! It\u2019s that good type of anxiety, and even now, every time feels like the first. I also love watching myself afterward to see where I can improve. That\u2019s my dream! While I love being on the runway, I also enjoy watching shows as a guest. Last year, I modeled for Fashion Week, helped organize a fashion show with the boutique I work for, and then attended another show as a guest. So I\u2019ve experienced all three sides, but in my heart, I\u2019ll always love being the model who presents the beauty and art of the designer. Shoutout to all the amazing Bulgarian and international models I\u2019ve met along the way who are now my friends. I hope we have many more events together in the future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fashion industry in Bulgaria is promising but still quite small and operates differently compared to Western Europe and the USA. Do you think it\u2019s realistically possible for a model to make a living in Bulgaria? What do you think should be improved to make that happen?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it\u2019s still a smaller industry, but I see it growing very optimistically. There are new modeling agencies, runway shows, and fashion events pushing fashion forward in Bulgaria. While it\u2019s not impossible to make a living, most models I know, myself included, work more as a hobby and have full-time jobs as well. Bulgaria is a small country, and most people in this industry already know each other. I think we should work on that\u2014giving new faces a chance instead of seeing the same ones everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You mentioned that you\u2019ve been working in TV as well. What were those experiences like, and how did they influence your career?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Yes, in 2021 and 2022, I spent a lot of time on Bulgarian television, behind the scenes, seeing how TV shows are created up close. I was also a guest on a few shows, which was a unique experience and a dream come true! It made me realize how much I want to pursue this dream of working in television, hopefully as a host. Those were great times for me. I had so much fun, met interesting people, and received advice that\u2019s helped shape my future in TV. Last year, I also started studying media and journalism, which I\u2019m really passionate about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a PR and social media manager for a luxury boutique, how do you combine your love for fashion with your professional responsibilities?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been working there for almost two years, and I truly love my job. I\u2019m grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great brand. My job combines two things I love\u2014modeling and fashion, especially luxury bags and accessories. They say if you do what you love, you\u2019ll never work a day in your life, and I can proudly say I feel that way. Every day, I learn something new, and I\u2019m always working on improving myself, which is why I\u2019m studying media and journalism. When people see someone doing their job with passion, they appreciate it even more. This job has made me more organized and responsible, and I\u2019m constantly growing into a better person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you spend your free time, and how do those activities influence your creative and professional life?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I spend most of my free time with my friends. We\u2019re very spontaneous, always looking for new things to do, from events and shows to going to the cinema or theater. They\u2019ve been a huge support\u2014they\u2019re always there when I have a show, or they\u2019re my plus-ones at events. I also love music, so I go to a lot of concerts and parties. I\u2019m a very social person, and I always end up meeting new and interesting people. It\u2019s important to meet others in your field; exchanging ideas and advice helps keep my creativity alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you envision your future career evolving in the world of cinema and television?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I see myself working in TV as a show host\u2014something I\u2019ve always felt I\u2019m meant to do. I took an acting class, and I really love cinema as an art form, so if I ever get a chance to be involved in that industry, I\u2019ll take it. My mother just graduated in cinematography and directed a movie where I helped with the script, which was fascinating. I\u2019d love to support her career, as well as my best friend\u2019s, who is currently studying it. I feel like I can blend all my passions into one and create a TV show for fashion and art lovers that gives a backstage view of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does Miss Bulgaria represent to you, and how has your perspective on the competition evolved over time?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I first heard about Miss Bulgaria when I was very young. It was always a dream of mine to participate and hopefully win. As I grew up, I realized that winning isn\u2019t the most important thing; being genuine, showing natural beauty, and being a good person matter more. I believe it\u2019s essential for the person representing Bulgaria to have these qualities. Last year, I attended as a guest and loved watching the show. The girls were gorgeous, and I wish them the best of luck this year\u2014I hope the most deserving contestant wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you think social media is influencing the fashion and beauty industries today?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Social media is the most important tool right now. We see so many content creators and influencers gaining popularity, and if something is trending on TikTok, it\u2019s almost guaranteed to be huge. Like when the leopard trend took over everything! I think people shouldn\u2019t underestimate the power of social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you balance your university studies with your modeling, acting, and PR responsibilities?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As I said earlier, when you do what you love, it doesn\u2019t feel like work. I\u2019m passionate about everything I do, so if I have an event in the evening, I wake up early, excited, and start my day with a good vibe. As a Libra, I strive to balance everything, so even if I\u2019m busy seven days a week, I feel good. I know my younger self would be proud of the person I\u2019ve become. I\u2019m grateful to be pursuing my dreams right here in Bulgaria, and I hope more talented young people will stay and elevate our country for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are some of your biggest dreams and goals for the future?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always been a dreamer! I have vision boards and wish lists on my phone that I look at daily. I challenge myself, even when things seem impossible, because I believe that hard work will lead you to the life you dream of. I want to continue working in the artistic world\u2014modeling, acting, and working in TV after I graduate. A big dream of mine is to start my own fashion company. My favorite quote is, \u201cWhat if it doesn\u2019t come true? Ah, but what if it does\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
